About Lumamber
Lumamber began as a private obsession with the way a single lamp can change a room. It became a line of lamps designed for the kind of warmth modern lighting has forgotten.

Lumamber started before it had a name. It started with a private frustration about the way modern lighting feels — bright, sterile, and somehow alien to the rooms we actually want to live in.
The LED transition gave us efficiency and a thousand new fixtures. It also gave us 5000K kitchen lights, hospital-grade ceiling panels in living rooms, and bulbs that hum faintly when you walk past them. Living rooms got brighter. They stopped feeling like living rooms.
Our founder started collecting old lamps before designing new ones. Mid-century table lamps with brass stems and linen shades. Travertine bases worn smooth from decades of touch. Hand-blown glass pendants found in Kyoto antique shops. What they all shared was something a price tag can't fully capture: they were made to age. They were made for warm light. They were made to be lived with.
When we couldn't find this kind of lamp on the market — not at any reasonable price, anyway — we started making our own. Lumamber is the result. A small studio. A long obsession with warm light. Sixty-nine pieces. One mission: lamps that earn their place in a room over years, not minutes.

Lumamber exists to bring back what the great LED transition gave up: the buttery, low-glare, character-rich light of the homes we grew up in — engineered with modern bulbs, hand-finished materials, and a long working life.
